I saw this on twitter and IG. And i was wondering why somalis were angry that they chose sweden over somalia it makes perfect sense. Sweden gave them everything and made their life easier and they have a bigger chance to win with sweden then Somalia that just plays 2 games a year



So iam wondering if you guys were prof football players would you choose your host country or Somalia?

Nigga somalia plays 2 games a year. And only 5 african countries can go to the world cup and no east african country can beat west and north african countries in football

I think it's the same in many European countries. Mesut Özil expressed the same sentiments of his experience paying for Germany. He said this in his farewell statement '“I am German when we win, but I am an immigrant when we lose'

If they want to win championships, they can win them in the club leagues. They shouldn't be playing for another man's country just to win championships. The point of international football is to use your skills to represent your country. Everyone else is playing hard for their countries, why aren't Somalis doing the same? How could Somalia's team ever improve if all of our talented players want to win World Cups for other people's countries?

Somalia team can improve if they get a crazy homegrown players like sadio mane from senegal and mo salah from egypt

They are in a difficult situation, because they still have a slim chance of making the Swedish team, especially Taha and Bilal, but theirs too many players ahead of them, and it's not guaranteed. They might never play international football.

With Somalia, they can experience international football, but will most likely lose most games.

If we wanna compete it has to start on at the grassroots level, developing the infrastructure, training coaches, having a national curriculum and targeted skill development. Relying on diaspora players will not get us anywhere except for giving us a gem here and there

You also have to deal with crazy corruption and if you play really bad they might kill you
