The only people I have ever who had second “wives ” was my uncle and some other middle aged Somali duded serial dead beats there kids usually are neglected if there male high chance that kid will be in prison especially if he’s running around in Nairobi or you drop him the inner city/ low income suburbs
The women are always unhappy my uncle had a wife in canada , Scandinavia , and San Diego out of 7 -8 kids only one I can say turned out fine
I know. If I was to marry some chick in Africa I'd prefer an educated Kenyan xalimo over some dumb ass one from sland or Somalia.
As long as self-proclaimed "good guys" are silent when women and children are abused, this will continue uninterrupted. The truth is, only men can stop other men, but they are either complicit or too afraid or lazy.
All you will see are women protesting, whereas men stay silent and look the other way. At most, they'll leave a comment on social media expressing sympathy. Why are there no men protesting?
They never do anything concrete to stop the sickos among them. Not politically, not physically, certainly not socially. In real life, they are all friends/related to losers, deadbeats or misogynists and hardly do anything as their friend abuses or cheats on his wife. They will pretend abusers and cheaters are mythical beings that nobody knows in real life.

This past week has been extremely sad. Somali news has been filled with reports of gang r*pe, forced marriage and child SA. I made a thread about the 8 year old child in Carmo, Somalia.

This is the reality for women in Somalia. When the government and fathers in positions of power/authority are incompetent and fail in their duties, r*pe culture grows until it becomes normal. Somali politicians only care about whether their clan members are represented in the government. These politicians would react more strongly if Clan X got more seats than Clan Y than if a Somali woman reported her r*pe.
People on social media laugh about "Dumarland", but it's real. Today, Somali women protested while fasting, even though the police in xamar are mooryan who physically assaulted them and tried to arrest some of the girls. Still, the women stood their ground.
If Somali men and politicians won't make Somalia safe for women, then we should follow South Korea’s 4B movement:
- No marriage
- No children
- No dating
- No sex
They only see Somali women as vessels to build their "landheere" reputation anyway. The qabil system is a scam that doesn't benefit Somali women, so why should we care if the population falls and these clans disappear? It's not our problem. I used to be against TikTok in Somalia, but it has helped a lot. Before, these stories were hidden. Now everything is exposed and no city or tuulo is safe. TikTok is breaking Somalia's ceeb culture by itself, and these animals can't hide anymore.

Unfortunately most men don’t call out other men, I won’t be suprised if this guy has friends and family who will support him and try to blackmail the girls family in dropping this case, not a single sheikh/scholar has spoken out about this.
I realized whenever a niin does something horrific such as abuse, SA, abandoning his family etc he’s never held accountable by his family and friends. This is what makes me so angry? How do they still have friends and a community after doing this. Disgusting I’m so mad reading this. How can we protect our women and girls when their own families don’t even see them as humans. We need to start by jailing and killing these animals.
