The worst thing they did was settle all the refugees from Somalia in NFD. Half a million people trapped in one area using all the trees for charcoal for over two decades. That's why NFD is dry as a bone now.

Why should they leave? No one consulted them or paid them compensation when refugees were settled on their land. Kenya was paid to look after the refugees and none of that money was used to compensate Somali Kenyans for loss of grazing trees and bushes for their animals. Kenya is also going to extract oil from NFD. How dare they tell them they can't move around Kenya and graze their animals there.

I think all the tribes should stay in their own lands. Somalis stay in Somali land. Kikuye in theirs. Massai in theirs. Luo. Etc
