I know she was one of the best known female Somali singers of the 70's/80's. Later she became a MP for which she was targeted by AS.

I'm just going of my assumption here. It was never confirmed that way, but AS typically target sites with politicians or army personnel if they can. They'll bomb anything and anybody, but they prioritize those places typically.
