This tiktok account came across my fyp and subhanallah I am in shock after listening to her story. I didn’t know Somali families move like this (which is naive I know bc evil families exist in all cultures) but the whole parental alienation and stealing a child away from their mother after a divorce seems so foreign to us compared to other cultures. Anything is possible though subhanallah.


It looks like they are from Alberta. @AbdiFreedom do you have any information on these people and the ex husband’s family? From what I’ve read on TikTok comments the ex mother in law is well known in her local community her name is Luul tahliil mohamud. There are also allegations that this family also does sihr subhanallah

The mother seems like a miskeen and pure hearted person. May Allah swt grant her justice in this life and the next and may her child be returned back to her ameen

Miskeen. She's very soft-spoken. My advice to women is never to marry a project or anyone who you out-earn. They are more inclined to be abusive than men who are more settled and earn the same or greater.

Let’s hear the husband side of the story we just can’t only take the woman side. There is reason the police and court allowed granted the custody for the father. Maybe the hooyo is bad mother.

He's bad himself though due to the assault. Maybe they're both bad.

The judge doesn't take into account if one parent is working and the other isn't because the child will be guaranteed government support anyway.

What's point of posting this to everyone though on social Media???

This is why marriage and divorce should never be taken lightly but Somalis treat both as a joke, nothing will impact individuals lifes more than both

There's no two sides to the story. He is a deranged woman abuser who took a child away from his mother. There is no justification for what he did to the poor, innocent sister. Allah is the Lord of Justice, and he will face dire consequences for his heinous actions. He blatantly lied to the court and said the mother wanted to kidnap and take her child to Saudi Arabia.

The court found her unfit for child care, there is reason for this rule. This lady is lying
