i have noticed something about my somali male brethren when it comes to money matters and investments they are
totally handicapped in prudence and assessments, they rather go with instincts, reputation and trends. a lot of people
i know have lost great amounts of money because they dont invest in the idea, rather they invest in the so called reputation
and social standing of the investee. they would give their monies to the so called sheikh or rich man or son of a rich person
or even a friend of his. they invest more in personalities than the viability of the ventures themselves. maybe it stems from
when people were still trustworthy but in todays world its fallacy to still base your investment decision on this. investments
should be a purely technical matter, after that comes the reputation and respect of the investee.
