Alx whether we’re back home in poverty or in a kafir country where we can be led astray easily, the Quran is always stuck to us. It’s crazy to think how normal it is to be hafiz Quran in our community. Other countries can criticize us about everything but one thing they can never do is criticize our knowledge and memorization of the Quran. Our love for Islam is one thing we can be proud of alx.

If Somalis truly followed the Quran wanton tribal infighting for 30 years. Memorizing is useless if it doesnt apply in your actions.

Baby steps sxb first you memorize the Quran and then you learn fusha. From there you are up there with the best of the best. But memorizing the words of allah puts you on a completely different caliber compared to those who don’t. I’m not saying it’s perfectly fine to not know the meaning but don’t try make it seem like there’s no point in it. There’s big reward especially in the after life.
