According to the cia world fact book the percentage of Ethiopia’s population that identifies as Somali is around 7.2 percent as of 2022 in comparison back in 1994 the Somali population of Ethiopia was around 5.9 percent and in 2007 it was only 6.2 this rise is with our numbers being downplayed in the national censuses the actual percentage could be much higher

It always has been rising. Somalis will become a large part of the population as more people in Galbeed settle.

You have to remember that DDS has a large rural and pastoral population. Which is much higher than that of Somalia and exceeds 50% of the population. Of course, you not going to have many mega-cities
