The Ethiopian governor of Banadir region of Somalia Farmaajo is handing out his overlords Somalia's future on a silver platter as usual.:mjcry:

From signing away four undisclosed ports in Somalia to Ethiopia to turning blind eye on Ethiopians drying out and building a dam in the Shabelle river and also helping them increase their Khat revenues to Somalia(Banning Mira of Kenya) and also increasing Ethiopian soldiers operating only in 3 regions in the south to 8 regions now and finally importing electricity from Ethiopia which will ofcourse make Somalia a dependent on Ethiopia even more, do we even know if he is even Somali?:faysalwtf:

This Ethiopian puppet and low IQ EX-Taxi driver has done more damage to Somalia than any leader since our inception, he needs to be charged for national treason and jailed for life.

Somalia and Somalis are a lost cause

The worst part of this Ethiopia itself doesn't even have enough electricity to provide to it's villages and remote towns but of course they want to import it to us.:drakewtf:

I am sorry but I lost hope in Somalia and it's low IQ leaders and foreign serving puppets, nothing will change in that hell hole, how can a filthy Gaajo midget country like Ethiopia play us like a bing bong for decades and now doing monopoly and even enslaving us in 2020?:birdman:

We have great wind power potential we should never be dependent on another nation for our energy
Somalia is generally not associated with wind power or any form of renewable energy for that matter. The country is usually in the news because of its problems due to civil wars, piracy and economic instability. However, few people know that Somalia has one of the highest combined wind power and solar energy potentials on the planet. The city of Garowe in Punland has been fed since 2016 by a 3.5 MW hybrid wind and solar power plant that recently increased to 5.9 MW to provide its 50,000 inhabitants with more than 90% of its electricity demands. Somalia’s power density is estimated at 849 W / m2 and 9.0 m / s at 100 m for areas with 10% wind. This is not far from the estimated UK average of 928 W / m2 and 9.4 m / s.

Our capital city is no longer mogadishu. It is indeed addis ababa. I accept colonization from our neighbours as long as our quality of life improves.

Life will not improve, whatever benefit we get from the electricity can be gone in a snap if the ethiopians pleased, they want us on a leash, and if you would accept the humiliation that tells a lot about you

Somalis really love conspiracy theories. 60m Ethiopian lack access to electricity.
When Somalis find a better/cheaper source of energy like wind/solar then we would be the ones exporting our surplus energy to Them. We just need the world bank to finance the infrastructure. Farmajo is thinking long term.

I don't know why are you guys acting so hysterical,
this is a very normal business practice between countries , if it's cheaper than the alternate, why not? this might benefit a lot of ordinary Somalis , and the money is coming from the World Bank too , beggars can't be choosers.
and for those who are worrying about our sovereignty and national security, let's have one first to begin with.
we can't even live with each other without foreign meddling (financially and militarily ).

Let me get this straight, you guys will have a whole wind farm and a park for only 190$ Million while the so called World bank will facilitate and import us electricity from Ethiopia for a 150$ million.

Walahi this is day light robbery, did the FGS ministers even finished middle school?

:ivers::childplease:

No rational independent strong somali government would ever trust Ethiopia with its energy needs.

But hey its not our time right now, maybe in the future:manny:
