Oromo leadership appears to be greedy, short-sighted and reactionary. If I was an Oromo leader, I would have spent time forging close ties with Somalis, and this, would have given them easier access to the coastal benefits. They could have made themselves the middle-man between Somalia and Ethiopia. But caqli meeshaan kama shaqeeyo.
Thanks to their bottomless greed, Somalis see them as the number 1 problem in Galbeed and they will not even be granted refugee status. As we can see from their evictions from Somali lands and it will only increase from now on.
When Somalis unite on common goals, Oromia's days are numbered. If I was them, I'd apologise now, because they are no match.
