Why do US restaurants get more non Somali traffic than UK ones. If you look at Somali restaurants on google reviews you can tell the American ones get a lot of customers and rave reviews why are the UK ones less like that?

In the U.K. Somali restaurant are not catered to foreigners. This should change though Somali food is nice

I never went too the UK so I’m not sure how Somali UK restruants are but last month when I drove to Los Angeles I went to this Somali restraunt called “Banadir Somali Restraunt” in Inglewood, CA. I seen a bunch of gangbangers loitering outside of the buisness and some gangster ass black guys with blood gang rags was eating Somali food and Mexicans eating Somali food lmao. Their was zero Somalis except for the owner.

USA is a rich country. Moreover, The land is vast. Somaliusa have lots of capital and option. We have budget for decor, and restaurant ambience which is important to gaalos. Most of UK restaurants are in ethnic neighborhood, the space is small, dirty & not pleasing ambience.

Loads of non-Somalis eat Somali food it's just that the restaurants are only for Somalis. There's no effort to fit in with UK restaurant culture or adapt anything to non-Somalis. The men are loud af too lol

I've never been to the US so objectively speaking I can't give a review. But I heard that some Somali restaurants in places like NYC don't provide the authentic culinary experience because they cater to ajnabi palates. @zubeirrrrrr is this true ?
