Are there any dentists going back to somalia?
I have seen a lot of Somalis with stained teeth.

I was sort of interested in doing a research project on fluoride staining. Since fluoride staining is a big cause of this problem in Somalia.

my mom she had some stained teeth. She ended up getting s dental procedure a long time ago though and got rid of the stains. Now she has pearly whites.

You just got the khaat bit, but I was talking in the scheme things of hygiene in general. khaat contributes to the deterioration of our dental hygiene. You will see 30 year old men with almost half of their back teeth missing. Do you know the ratio of dentists to the population? Haiti beats us.

there r lot dentists too in major citys. no problem if you wana see one.in most cases you can be taken care of in a day.

Mate, I know what you are discussing and excessive fluoride is mostly found in water-wells in Mudug and Togdheer. 1 in 10 Somali can’t afford a dentist. Since it’s a dental related thread, my message was, let’s not forget the decadence khaat causes our oral hygiene.
