Egypt is not on the same league as Ethiopia when it comes to the economy. They had financial difficulties because of the Arab Spring. Ethiopia has a large population and scant middle class, they're an export economy and they produce very little and also have next to no tourism or construction industry. You can't compare them. Egypt like Greece will eventually recover.

I personally don't care for either country and I'm sick of Somalias politicians playing prossie. They make me sick.

It's the same in the Somalia @Xayd . Villa Somalia has a strong relationship with Ethiopia in case you haven't noticed. It's not about making a choice, Ethiopia is a potential gold mine for Somalia and they're securing the relationship because of Ethiopia Master Plan will bring in billions annually to Somalias ports and fishing industry. There's no need to choose sides. Egypt needs meat, veg and fruit produce and land for it's cotton industry expansion. There's a small threat of war between them but we won't be getting physically involved, they're more than capable of handling Ethiopia if it came to it but they won't go to war because it will have huge consequences on their international standing. Their only option was paying rebel groups but they were exposed and since gave up. They'll have to hash out a water sharing agreement like civilised people.
