Somalia Drive

So I was just researching on Liberia because I suddenly became interested in it's geography and history. As I was looking at Liberia through google map, I've come across Somalia Drive.

Now I've searched through the webs and can't find a reason why they named it after Somalia. They had no relations with Somalia as for as I know.

I'm so curious to know the reason for the name.

probably some sort of political overture from when siyaad barre named a lot of streets in xamar, kinda like twinning cities

Thats weird, dunno couldnt find any info on why its called Somalia Drive. Some suggest it was a name exchange done by two Dictators Siad barre and the dictator of Liberia.

There is a street called Via-Liberia or Wadada Liberia in Mogadishu,Somalia
