These scumbags are really going for it. They just attacked a military outpost and a police station. They're running out of money as reported recently and this means they're desperately trying to seek new grounds for looting and taxation. Puntland has farms, factories and more businesses than SW State but sadly for them Puntland doesn't have any sympathetic people to hide amongst. They're toast.

So are the ones in the South also a qabiil militia? They've been hitting the South for nearly a decade. Galmudug has a bad reputation, it's not a worthy newsgrabbing hit. Al Shabaab are going for shock value and they have been for a year.
