the absolute lowest bar is if Hassan sheikh agrees to that and decides to just give it away instead. Which is low iq move I’d expect from him. Look at the letter from Somalia and its intention to use nuclear technology and science in a peaceful manner which complies with the IAEA regulations.

Somalia has some of the largest deposits of Uranium in the world, the FGS joining this organisation. Is a stepping stone for the country to start building mines to source this energy, so it may be sold to the power that be.

If Somaliland gets international recognition we should never sign it. That treaty is a scam that allows countries with nuclear arms to keep them while calling for non nuclear countries to never develop it. Article 4 says countries with nuclear countries must disarm their nuclear arsenal but there is no time table for that, so effectively, those who have nuclear weapons can keep it for ever and those who don't are banned to ever develop nuclear weapons. Bogus lopsided treaty. Israel can develop nuclear weapons because it's not a part of this treaty. No one in their right mind should sign on it. Iran signed and US are on their arse since 2003, N Korea withdraw but US can't do shit since it already have ballistic missiles that'll destroy their allies next door and night be able to reach Alaska.

You’d probably disagree with this, but we don’t really need nukes. Stuff like that would bring unwanted attention to Somalia, leading to its downfall once again. Our government only seeks to apply it in a a peaceful manner. We are building a navy, nuclear reactors are essential to that endeavour as they fuel warships and submarines. Somalia would also benefit more from a power plant which lowers electricity prices.

I'm.more interested in the physics of uranium.atoms, fission, heat and storage into weapons not to interested in the governance. Puntland is ripe for understanding the science behind nuclear weapons.

We must teach all puntites the periodic table and the attributes of each element in the earth so they can create labs to create many products. It comes down to matter, gas, liquids in different states based on heat or cold, it's one of the most simple sciences I can understand why siyad created a chemistry engineering faculty in the national university.
