Somali leaders lack any sense of creativity. Every country, region and even cities have a civilian award that goes to an outstanding member of the civil society. We all know the troublemakers, but it's time to recognise our hidden heroes. The purpose of this thread is to familiarise ourselves with those that contributed to 'an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the Somali people, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors''.
