Actually Somtel is cheaper, $15 monthly or $10 (2.5 * 4) for unlimited data and calls. and it's forcing Hormuud/Golis/Telesom to lower their rates as well.

Hormuud is faster though, cheap and slow is the kinda quality somtel is. Hormuud is cheap but still gives you high speed internet.

Depends on the location, for example they've submarine fiber cable in Bosaso so their speed is reasonable.
