the federal government and xamar as a political entity is a joke, we should transfer political power form FGS to garowe and let the barbarians kill each other.

This is what @Saahid Qamaan posted in another thread about it

The answer is there has been bad blood and animosity between Speaker Jawaari and PM Kheyre for some time.

Jawaari a seasoned man with much experience who worked in the civil government of Somalia and leads a separate branch of government that is not in sync with the PM.

What is it about?

There has been a motion against PM Kheyre in the Somali Parliament for a long time. In previous years Parliamentarians would stir motions against the PM or President to make money (their cash machanism to pay for hotel rooms, food, travel, family expenses).

After getting money they would keep quiet for sometime and if the cash received from previous motions runs low they would start again and bring forth another motion.

Should we be worried about Kheyre's dictatorial tendencies?

The answer is Yes and No.

No, because Somalia needs tough leadership. The PM mistreated Abdirahman Abdishakur a MI6 spy who also worked with the Emiratis to destabilise Somalia.

He was silenced as recent as yesterday when he wanted to hold a press conference.

Everyone fears Kheyre in Mogadishu as he is not afraid to use force.

Yes we should worry because naturally heavy handed tactics bring heavy handed opposition responses.

What are Kheyre's objectives?

His objectives are to get rid of Speaker Jawaari so no motion will be brought against him and make Parliament toothless and subservient to him.

sounds informative but its painted in one colour i dont like that, i want a more unbiased source.
I agree, Kheyre was too heavy handed and another guy on this site said it had to do with Jawaari's original response to the Berbera deal. Apparently Jawaari wanted to pass a law that would require Parliament approval for any deal with a foreign country. That would obviously give a lot of power to parliament, which Kheyre doesn't like.

The bill, which included language that forbids any foreign investment contracts without approval by the Parliament, was put forward without input from the president or prime minister. Observers said the vote was a sign of the growing political strength of Mr. Jawari.

if parliament got more power does this mean they would be able to eventually overrule the central government.

also give me some information how our country government works

Well, yes. The new constitution still hasn't been accomplished, they've been operating on a provisional one, and one would imagine powers of the branches would be clearly defined in the new one to avoid this specific issue. However, some say Jawaari is holding it up, others say Farmaajo and Kheyre are holding it up. I believe the latter is true.

Pretty self explanatory although someone can probably correct me. Everything is divided up according to major clans (Dir, Darood, Hawiye, D&M) get one equal share and minority (Bantu, reer xamar) clans get half that share. That means MPs, Cabinet Ministers, this fucked up Presidential voting system they got

I've said all along Kheyrelaawe is Dìck Cheney and Failmaajo is GWB. Kheyre/Cheney calls all the shots .

Also I'm glad to see everyone agrees @Yonis is special needs person. As are most of the people from federal state Puntland who like to act like they're separate country
