the younger somali team seems to be performing better than our current lame team. Inshallah more effort is put into the u18, we must have a dedicated sports leader who don't steal funds and actually allocate it to facilitating the team with the correct equipments to flourish on this competitive sport. I saw these kind of Somalis in a shop in Jeddah, they are mostly from Mogadishu, short-stature and they have Bantu-esque features, but in a way that looks diluted. I bet you they are one of those admixed groups from South Somalia, like Shiidle and Makanne, who claim random Somali ethnic clans in public.

Well, there is an Abgaal DNA result out there, that is originally Congolese pygmy. There is a D&M guy, whose paternal haplogroup is originally Bantu. Dadka qaar waa Somalised, so these features are still very likely, non-Somali in origin.
