Read this interesting article that highlights a few key changes that could possibly occur if somalia were ever to split off from the mainland Africa and collide with the Asian tectonic plate (India in particular). As it turns out the western region of India will be wiped out completely in the collision and a new mountain range that will rival the himalayas will form as a result of the pressure and heat generated from the sheer force of the collision.
In light of this development India and somalia's future survival and livelihoods will be intertwined as a result of this act of providence. However since this will occur 200m years from now, it is highly unlikely that we will see any geeljires grazing their camels in the Asian sub continental region any time soon.
