You can't make this stuff up. Somalia has a MALE minister of womens affairs, Bashiir Goobe. He got the position because the previous minister of womens affairs, I beleive Khadija Diriye, passed away (aun) last year and was from the same tribe as him. He attended a meeting at the U.N. today where he represented Somali women and sat in the middle of a bunch of women representing their countries women's interests and issue. This is the type of silly 'government' some people are waiting on results from.

‘Honorary’ is the key word. He never earned the position, Somalis make shit up and lie to themselves and each other. He was given that ‘honorary’ position based on qabil and ‘saami qaybsi’ bs. Now he has another honorary position and the cycle continues.
