I mean it'll continue to be young till we properly industrializ. But you're right it's a shame we don't see the potential is such a youthful work force.Too bad we don't take advantage of such a young generation.
Somalia has about 760k births per year. Factoring in Galbeed, NFD, Djibouti you get around 1.2 million a year.We would be unstoppable if we could ride on 3+ fertility for the next 40 years in somaliweyn/Somalia. Would literally mean that the somali population would reach more then 100 million.

Walhi i dont which world u live in u said women treated like cows when that hapens.Being a mother will never be a status symbol in societies, where women are treated like cattle.
The Government needs to teach men to provide and treat their wives well, or women will not be incentivised to have many children.

My mom isnot treated like that never seen woman who get that treatment wah
Women are most definitely not treated as cattle. It is absolutely insane to suggest so in our culture. Being a mother is very honourable. A man who does not provide or treats his wife unwell is a scumbag that should be shunned.Being a mother will never be a status symbol in societies, where women are treated like cattle.

Who are this children who love their mothers, does it not include boys who grow up to be men. We are taught pradidise is at our mother's feet. What man will not die to protect his mother.Mothers are beloved by their children, but do Somali men value the women who mother their children? Not the way they should, according to Islam. This is not to say that Somali men are inherently evil, but it's what our culture values. When Somali men go back home, they are encouraged to remarry, despite not being able to afford it and they even go as far as to lie about having more than one wife.
This is not to say that Somali men are inherently bad, but our culture has many problems and one of them is that neglectful men are protected by society, not shunned by society.
Sexism is a worldwide problem though, it's not exclusive to Somali culture.
