So the ignoble losers who hate on Somaliland success made fake news as if the port deal Somalia made with Ethiopia will make Berbera worthless which isn't the case since both Somaliland and Ethiopia already signed the deal off. Plus, Berbera is way near while Mogadishu, Bossaso and Kismayo are too far. Not to mention UAE will be using our port and the construction, project and development already began. Berbera is said to become a multi-international port that will take advantage of its strategic location, so other Somali ports including Djibouti cannot compete with Berbera. Somaliland will always stay winning and may Allah make that continues, inshallah.

Here is the good news: http://www.africanews.com/2018/06/2...-does-not-affect-somaliland-foreign-minister/

Yes, the construction of Berbera already began. It will look like this once it's completed.

I don't get it why do ethiopia get a share of the port? How did they get it
:kanyehmm:

This a great deal in comparison to what other Global Ports have sold for in relation to stakeholder percentages of other countries.

Ethiopia will have an incentive to divert massive amounts of trade to Berbera, Ethiopia will also build the Berbera corridor. Plus, Ethiopia will have a stake in the security of Somaliland. It's a win.

What will sland do? They have no power.

We all know the four ports is referring to Berbera, Bosaso, Mogadishu and Kismaayo (which btw the deal is a big treason made by xaarmaajo, and the same deal by hassan sheikh/siilaanyo is also treason).

U either accept it or the ethiopians and arabs will pull out. Leaving Berbera to be shitty.

I can already tell that you're lying as HSM signed the Berbera port deal

Did you not read what I said and the news article I gave you stupid buffoon? It debunks your myth about Berbera being worthless. Ethiopia and Somaliland already signed off their deal and so it cannot be broken especially with UAE using our port and upgrading it. It's a multi-international port and Berbera is way near to Ethiopia so it will not affect us.

The Ethiopians and UAE will pull out and move to where?

UAE kicked out of Djibouti. So Berbera is only option if they want to have Ethiopia as customer, because of infrastructure. Somalia is highly unstable. Kenya and Susan too far away. So not many options, except Djibouti, Somaliland and maybe Eritrea in the future.

Who cares? No recognition = no power

Any country would rather use Somalia ports than rogue state Somaliland
