A lot companies pay bribes to Al Shabab, they function like a Mafia-like entity. It's the way groups like ISIS made most of their money, not through gulf money but through racketeering, "taxation" and extortion.

It is law !!! And any respect org should follow the law and order, maybe if they pay the full amount of the tax that will motivate them to speak against the corruption.

No one will respect the law if you can't enforce it and to properly enforce it you need to give people assurances like safety and security. Why should some person working for some branch office in some dusty ass tuulo pay taxes when place will be overrun by Al Shabab the next week and it'll be his ass that's getting executed for collaboration?

They are super rich people who are working in dusty place out of cheapness. even if they don't pay tax but at least should help their communities like schools, hospitals in remote villages. It is the Islamic thing to do.
