A historical and monumental moment was the 2013 Somali New Impact Conference held in September 2013. This is when millions of money was pledged for countless improvements in all aspects to improve lives and livelihoods by injecting money into lots of projects to lift the country up.
It was crucial moment. It is when the cash was pledged for the urban infrastructure of Mogadishu, Hargeisa and Garoowe.
The cash will also be used for improving road networks, ports and airports throughout Somalia.
Somaliland got a Special Arrangement within the Somali Compact presentedly jointly by the FGS and their pro FGS administrations and Puntland and Jubaland who were invited separately.
Puntland's insistence of Jubaland presence in yhe conference paved the way for their administration being cemented as Hassan Sheikh fought hard to stop Jubaland from taking off.
