It's actually the market rate for the area. Djibouti signed a similar deal with DP World to build the Doraleh port for $400m.

The most important thing is that Berbera port will be modernized. The economic impact for the region will be huge.

Guys Berbera port now handles 100k containers now, after upgrading by DP it will handle 1.2 million. Do the calculations. It will be operational in 16 months from now . The job opportunities will be tens of thousands good for the somaliland youths . Sitting idle is not good strategy
