You would've thought Somalis would see past tribe once they become homogenous but they create more dichotomies via subclass and sub sub clans to the extent it's family vs family. Somaliland should just have inclusive parties instead of each party being a code name for another clan.

They had a major Isaaq civil war in the 90s Habar Awal and Habar Jeclo vs Garhajis, basically E1b1 vs T1, if that shit happens again SL will collapse.

I think the sensible thing to do is let Garhajis rule, but then again our boy Biixi who was a former Kacaan askari is very arrogant and will not go peacefully if he loses reelection, neither will the deep state Jeegaan conspiracy against Garhajis roll over dead for Garhajis political ascendance.

We not stuck in the 90s, we are in a tug of war trying to move forward while others are trying to move backwards to the 90s. I agree SL is more politically mature from institution to the citizenry something that can only be praised.
