Heavy delegation from Taiwan were meeting Somaliland ministry of Energy and Minerals.

Taiwan state oil company CPC Corporation have a 49% of the working interest in the exploration block SL10B/13 in the Republic of Somaliland.

Our elders of Togdheer region and the politicians, have clearly refused and prevented the drilling of the oil well, until there is clear of the sharing percentages of the oil region and local oil site community shares. There was choas in the last few days but now everything was solved between, the government, Togdheer Elders/politicians and Genel Energy. It was agreed that everything should be transparent.

Xood is located the border between Togdheer and Sool, therefore, the members of the House of Representatives, who represent Hood, are elected from Togdheer region, and it is under Qoryale district of Togdheer. Markaa Xood Togdheer ayay xisaabsan tahay.
