Let's be honest! The only independent region out of the 5 Somali regions today is Somaliland.
Somaliland is a thriving democracy in a troubled region and with no aid we have built institutions Somalia couldn't do with billions of Aid! Djibouti is still somewhat a French colony and not much far ahead of Somaliland if we are about to get recognition that tiny country would be irrelevant! Somalia is being colonized by third world countries, NFD is just an underdeveloped region and at last Somali region in Ethiopia is still subject to occupation! I can't help but ask myself are Somalilanders the smartest people out of the 5 Somali regions?
