Somaliland returning back to Somalia?

I have a proposal that would possibly get Somalilanders on board with Somalia and give the people of Somaliland access to the International Financial system.After the south has defeated Alshabab ofcourse and Amisom leaves.


These would be my demands

• Federalism in it's current form is to abolished and Somalia is divided between North Somalia & South Somalia
• These two regions will have their own individual parliaments (Provincial)
• These parliaments will have control over their Health,Education,Laws,Economy,Provincial taxes
• These two regions will together vote for a National Federal Government which will have a five party system
• Federal Govt has powers over Foreign affairs,Defence,Airports/Ports,Federal Taxes
• A new capital is established and the surrounding area around this capital is cleansed of any specific clan/sub clan
• The history of what happened during the 80s is acknowledged and state funerals for mass killers are to be stopped immediately and Siad Barre would be demonized as the destroyer of Umadda Somaliyeed

What you are arguing for is a federation instead of federalism akin to Russia and thereby get you're defacto independence in most matters without a central government to carry out the wishes of the people but many issues arrive, such as the sharing of ressources mainly oil, gas, platinum and the redistribution of wealth from richer region to poor regions, such schemes require a strong central government and clear constitutional powers. It is also important to note that a northern federation would include areas that do not want to be governed by a majority of Somalilander such as Awdal and Sool, and their voting power would be diluted in such a union and their influence with it. Furthermore the long-term goal of this northerne state is probably to seek independence and take extra land that Somaliland does not control currently.

Siad Barre did not destroy the union, he was the only trying to hold it together, and in your arrogance and ignorance for a feeble dream of independence Somalilanders joined other clans with aid and comfort of our enemies and became an unwittingly ally to Ethiopia and Kenya to destroy the central government and ever since our people have been suffering. Rewriting history to suit you're lies won't change the reality that you never were or will be a state of your own. Further more history and data shows that a federation fare worse than a government with a central governance in deliverance of basic government services and their long-term viability are low.
