This is because the seperatists will be a pain in the ass to Somalia, so we should allow them to leave and have their independence.

Somalia can't decide anything about Somaliland.We took our freedom back in 1991.We are waiting for international recognition.The reason why our international recognition is so delayed even though many Western nations celebrate our democracy and developments is because they fear other territories run by warlords,pirates and terrorists will illegitimately also try to be their own counries which will cause unimaginable chaos for the weak Somalia and the horn of Africa as a whole.
