I have a few questions for you guys.

why did you elect a warlord to be your president? This goes against democracy and your chances of becoming sovereign.

if i had the choice to shape somalilands leadership i would have taken a whole different route.

the elected officials and senior goverment officials would all have an high education in the department of their governmental work.
This group of people would have hailed from all major stakeholders clans and the military would have been strictly controlled.

you guys had 30 years to show the world what democracy looks like in the horn, sadly you failed in this endeavor now that somalia is moving to 1m1v in the near future.

the land somaliland sits on is as strategic as they come. Allow the russians to build a base in somaliland on a few conditions, moscow is going to train sl intelligence sector and strategic education (from oil to other minerals to architecture to building infrastructure etc) and not to forget russia has to defend somaliland from any attack. From this point on somaliland would have been stable and mooriyaan proof and development can start.

This has been discussed a lot of times, Somaliland's best chance for recognition was in mid 2000s when Somalia was chaotic but if they didn't get independence back then it's very unlikely they will get it today

Other than that, I don't think anyone wants to take the risk of recognizing Somaliland because it would legitimize the secessionist cause for every state seeking independence.

How on earth is Somalia moving forward? If not its even worse today, when did ever 600 people day in one day in Somalia’s history? Never apart from 3 years ago.
