You can be Muslim without being somali. You can be somali without being Muslim. The overwhelming majority of Somalis do subscribe to Islam though if that’s what you mean. That wasn’t my question though. The two identities can exist without each other.

I find it strange that you have to compare two different things that have nothing to do with each other. Islam is a religion and Somali is an ethnicity.
