Where are the Somali voices, where are the Somali educated lawyers from the diaspora? Who is defending these people? In the late 80s, early 90s we were refugees too. I'm so disgusted.

I can see why people get upset with social justice warriors. We rally for all types of causes but we hardly ever come out for Somalis. We rally for Palestine, we rally for black lives matter, we rally for lgbtq causes but we hardly every rally for Somalis.

I guess it's not trendy enough to defend refugees. I'm sickened
