Politically yeah, but not population wise. NFD is sparsely populated compared to other province. It's kinda similar to Turkana county in Rift valley province. Maybe influenced by pastoralism and nomadic life is a reason why it's sparse and the climate factor too.

However, somalis in Kenya have potential politicians which some of them are in the current presidents party. They could dominate in the future and it's possible Some call them the jews of Africa...

somalis in kenya marry out more than somalis in tanzania,we simply dont we have been here for long time since the 30s-40s we survived,ofcoarse some do marry out usually with benadiri looking afro arabs but like lets say around 5%,there are different ethnicities here like an arab mother can disown her son if he marries a bantu,but arabs intermarry more than somalis,indians dont intermarry at all there even less that marry out guessing around 2%,all these ethnicities look down on bantus in their own country

I haven't looked at the numbers but the population of Somalia in kenya must have quadrupled in the last two decades, it's what happens when we aren't hacking each other to death.
