Not true from what I seen, most Somalis with Madow like hair looks like any other Somalis I grew up with a lot of Oromos in Minneapolis that have straight up Madow hair and a typical Somali-like forehead.

Not true from what I seen, most Somalis with Madow like hair looks like any other Somalis I grew up with a lot of Oromos in Minneapolis that have straight up Madow hair and a typical Somali-like forehead.

Oromos and other Habesha have Omotic admixture that's why their hair is kinkier than Somalis on average.

Shape up ruins peoples hairlines even if they don't have the bidaar gene. The barber "corrects" the hairline by attempting to make it as straight as possible. Which for one looks unnatural and goofy whilst also removing the front of the hairline and pushing it back further and further.

not true my cousin has got coarse hair and his hairline has been receeding since 2012 at 16.
