Little girls shouldn't be forced to wear a hijab that substantial. They didn't hit puberty, a gabasaar will do fine.

Thats nice, I usually take my kids to the mosque so they can interact with somalis more often. Most somali kids speak only English. Even my siblings and cousin's kids speak English 99% of the time so they don't even teach my kids somali. When I go visit or they come visit me I have to keep reminding them "waryadaa somali kula hadla caruurta".
