South Sudan to build pipeline through Ethiopia and Somaliland (op)

Chinese company Poly-GCL Petroleum Group Holdings is moving ahead with its $4 billion project to export gas from southeast Ethiopia’s Hilala and Calub gas fields to China after a drilling programme showed promise.

With Chinese concessions in both South Sudan and Ethiopia, I'm thinking they will more than likely consolidate their holdings by linking the logistics. South Sudan is also looking to secure new routes for its oil. I'm thinking it will be Either to djibouti or Somaliland (opinion).

Thoughts?

Even with Liyuu soldiers, no exploration worker is safe in the Somali region.

ONLF might be dead but there are plenty of Somalis in charge that will let ONLF remnants slip through to scare away any foreign exploration companies.

Even if they can't put up a fight against TPLF ATM they could at least sabotage these projects.

China keeps sending its shittiest companies and these gullible Africans think it's Exxon Mobile that walked in to the door.

60% of the Chinese companies that invest in Ethiopia and trade of the Shanghai and HK markets are the degenerates of the index.

Poor Africans when will we learn the only real wealth is the people.

:ulyin: This ain't a penny stock it's a dumpling stock.

Exxon has a 79$ per stock shell has 55$ per stock and this GCL is going for .11 cents usd per stock while they charge Ethiopia 4billion$ to export this gas to themselves, this is sad.

So the Somali region can only develop through Somalia and not Ethiopia? If the revenue goes to infrastructure and education in the region you still wouldn't support it?
