In England and Wales the last time there was cholera outbreak was over 100 years ago.

I know. I studied it in GCSE History. It happened in London due to the Thames. The doctor who discovered the cause was one of the pioneers of disease epidemiology and quarantine procedures. It's times like this that you wonder if cadaans are right about Somalis and IQ.

It is more to do with the environment & infrastructure in our case. Majority of Somali cities apart from some parts of Mogadishu don't even have working underground sewage system.

What do they do with the hundreds of millions of dollars they make each year that is more important than the healthcare of their country? How can people be getting treated under trees in the 21st century?

AUN to the victims.

It's a shame this kind of outbreak is happening at this moment of time. It's 2017 a lot of these diseases should be non existent by now.
If little Isolated Eritrea can provide free healthcare at a good standard to all of its citizens then surely we can.

Your superior
Well that is what you get when you vote for a party that only thinks Somaliland is the Berbera to Wajaale corridor there is no healthcare investments for the area.

:manny:

Well that is where the government collects tax from and gets its income from so those areas should get more attention :manny:

And then people wonder why I say we were better off under Siyaad. Just compare the response of the kacaan to abaartii Dabadheer to Kulmiye's response to the drought that just passed. It's like night and day. A bad government is better than no government.

This is not even funny anymore, the whole point of elections is to bring change, this incompetent government is just trying to extend their mandate. Inshallah ucid wins

:ayaanswag:Bro, I gotta ask. Do you have like Darood relatives or something? You're consistently pro-kacaan.

There's nothing wrong with free-thinking, but Siad Barre and the Kacaan are probably the single worst thing to happen to Somalis outside of having Xabashi as neighbours.

No, I'm Isaaq on both sides. And I'm not pro-kacaan, there's a lot of things I didn't like about that regime. I'm just saying the kacaan was better than the status quo, and I think that's self-evident when we have cholera patients lying outside underneath trees in Somaliland's second biggest city in the year 2017.

From the ministry of Public information and Propaganda of the Democratic People's Republic of North Somalia: Great Leader Silanyo hereby forbids the use of or reference to the noun "Cholera". Henceforth the sickness plaguing the great Revolutionary city of Burco will be referred to as "Futo-dhareer". Any disobedience will be met with strict punishment. Long live the Republic! Long live our glorious leader!

The health sector is horrid back home. I've seen doctors use diesel as sanitation in their surgical room:susp: I can literally open up a ward in my house and call myself Dr. Hebel. There's literally people who have a xawaalad(edit) and pharmacy in the the same store:mindblown: there's no quality control by dawlada hoose:ohlord:
