Support Novel by Somali Author

Salaam alaykum everyone!

My name's Halima and I'm a writer. I shared my work with you all here a few years back. I published a collection of short stories and was eager to promote my work.

I'm pleased to say that I recently published a novel. It deals with a young Somali woman in Minneapolis named Warda.

Warda, a young Somali woman living in Minneapolis must deal with the pressures of helping her family's restaurant, friendships, family dynamics and coping with her early twenties. When a handsome regular develops an obsession with her, life as she knows it drastically changes. A suspenseful thriller based on a short story developed in 2015.

I would really appreciate it if you guys could purchase a copy. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for the support!

Here's the link to my book: (paperback and kindle)

Salaams sis. I checked your post history and wanted to ask: did you have a blog by the name of ‘Xalimo Musings?’ You reminded me of her. I was thinking of that blog and wondered what happened to it.

Haha yes that was me! I stopped writing on there because I wanted to focus on my first book. I really miss that blog. Good times!

Wow, so dhawoow sis! I looked it up the other day because I loved reading it. I was hoping I’d find an archived version but didn’t. Mashallah, I’m happy to hear you’re doing well.
