Shias only make about 15% of the population, most of the Syrian refugees are SunnisGreat to see, I was curious as to whether the people who fled to somalia were Sunni or Shia, this confirms it
out of interest say they were shia would it influence your stance on them being there (this isnt a set up just curious)Great to see, I was curious as to whether the people who fled to somalia were Sunni or Shia, this confirms it
yea. shias are a cancer bro. just look at shia/sunni mixed nations.out of interest say they were shia would it influence your stance on them being there (this isnt a set up just curious)
yh true the dynamic of the society would rip apart, I was found shias weird their more confrontational than even the other faiths barring the hindusyea. shias are a cancer bro. just look at shia/sunni mixed nations.
Not really, Somalis are 99% Sunni and look down on shias so Iโm not afraid of some ideological or religious change taking place. I was just curious on there sect thatโs allout of interest say they were shia would it influence your stance on them being there (this isnt a set up just curious)
Iโd agree if the nation wasnโt Somalia. Somalis typically look down on Shia ideology and donโt conform to ideological or religious changes. Theyโd probably be discriminated against and thereโs only a tiny amount of shias representative of the already small amount of Syrians. Itโs not really an issue for us even if they numbered in the hundreds of thousands theyโd probably just be ostracised. Only thing youโd have to be worried about is Iran radicalising them in order to use them as a proxy and in that case theyโd be deportedyea. shias are a cancer bro. just look at shia/sunni mixed nations.
We already have kharawij and terrorist sympathizers in Somalia. Adding shias in the mix who want to wage war on sunnis for a shia revolution and the other way around will make things much worse and add more instability in a region where clan conflict and kharawij existsyh true the dynamic of the society would rip apart, I was found shias weird their more confrontational than even the other faiths barring the hindus
Kharawij mainly exist due to external meddling in Somali affairs and furthermore are radicalised by the actions of neighbouring nations add to that the lack of economic opportunity leaving them with practically no other options. Shia ideology would be demonised simply because Somalia are very stubborn and difficult to change. Christian missionaries during the colonial era practically had 0 success, this would probably mimic that scenario. We already have kharawij and terrorist sympathizers in Somalia. There would have to be a very large financial incentive in order for them to join. And this would probably cause a war with al kebab. I donโt think they would have much success with recruits if they positioned themselves as anti UAE, Somali society is polarised but thereโs so many militias and men ready to die an organisation of this sort would be a drop in the ocean. I can only see an issue if Tehran gives them significant financial and military support, but Uncle Sam would never let that happen theyโd sooner support al kebab if it meant getting rid of Iranian influence in Somalia. Theyโre already struggling with Shia influence in the Middle East they wouldnโt let it reach africaYou don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
