Things will get more dire for Assad regime from here on out. They tried to stop the momentum of the rebels but they have failed. Without Iranian/Shia foot soldiers it seems Assad is helpless. His airforce was quickly be ineffective against the rebels and will probably rely more on Russian Airpower which was greatly reduced in Syria since the Ukraine war. Time is ticking for Assad.

While in Syria he regularly bombs hospitals and civilians. He carpet bombed cities there in the past and same thing with Chechnya.
