We don't put anything towards maintenance. Look at all the old buildings in Xamar, they're in disrepair. They put up new buildings and these crumbled buildings are just sitting there. Before someone runs in here and says, well it's the Southerners, Saylac looks terrible and is severely underdeveloped and that's the most historic city in the north.

True, one hundred years from now, if nothing is done to restore them in the time between, they will no longer exist and Somali kids in 2120 will wonder if they had any historic heritage at all. All of Somalia’s Ls, that destroyed entire quarters and historic monumental buildings and structures, happened in the last 130 to 150 years, exactly when the Europeans made their way to Africa, though we can go back even further than that when the Portuguese attacked Somali cities in the 16th century.

There is a silver lining though, there are plenty of illustrations and photographs to reconstruct and restore old Somali ruins. In Germany they resurrected an entire Cathedral from scratch after it was destroyed during WWII;

Somalia has many old buildings, we may not have massive cathedrals but that's not an issue or anything to mean Somalis weren't advanced.

Ibn Battuta visited Mogadishu in 1331 and wrote how the buildings were 4-5 story tall, another source writes that people all across the indian ocean came to Xamar to pursue islamic education in medieval times.

No they wouldnt. they lived nowhere near eachother and had different ancestors (Mesopotamians descend from Iranian Neolithic farmers and EEF are Anatolian farmers mixed with European hunter gatherers ). This was a completely distinct european culture.

I look at Chinese and Indians and they have huge chip on shoulder. They go so hard to catch up to cadaan people and acknowledge there is gap. As kids they are pushed hard at school and then parents spend money for tutors after school. They put in double the work to keep up with cadaan people. Africans need to do same we should carry massive chip on our shoulder and put in tripple the work to catch up. Some races might be more talented at certain things but I believe hard work can close gap. I hope this cultural shift happens with second gen of Somalis. Many first gen had to do it on their own with refuge parents. New generations should be like Asians with best schools and expensive tutors for kids. So we have world leading scientists and experts and even Nobel prizes and major inventions.

The people who say we doing good and our history is great to me it’s patronizing and saying for your race this is good as it gets.

Nigga the only cities "ancient europeans" had was in the Mediterranean which was connected tk the middle east and north Africa Civilisations.
