The .5 makes a huge difference in shoe sizes

I am 10.5 size when it comes to feet.

I bought winter boots at a store this week but they only had sizes that were not .5 in the boots I wanted.

The lady brought me 10 and 11 but I knew 11 would be too loose on me so I said give me the 10. I thought it wouldnt be a huge deal.

I put the 10 size ones on for a moment and took it off and bought it. It felt normal. But my mistake was not walking around with them for a bit.

So a few days with these new boots that I like but the back of my ankle now hurts slightly every time I walk. A small cut and small drops of blood appear all the time around my ankle. Nothing too serious though.

And I can't return them because I told the lady I didn't want the box it came with because I was gonna wear them as soon as I left the store.

$200 down the drain. I just wanted to be in and out; I hate shopping.

Lesson of the day: Never buy shoes or boots .5 smaller.

Some ladies ( and a few gents) will run into this topic just to find out your shoe size. :nogrammynoneck:
