Transportation is very important. Somalia is a huge country the size of the east coast of America. More airstrips are needed .

I get that, but we already had 62 airports in 2012. That's more than enough. I'm betting more have been built. They should improve the already existing ones and stop building new ones. I'm betting it's the tulo vs tulo mentality at work here.

Airstrips are cheaper than roads. So I think that is the reason.

If the federal states poured their money together, I think they could build an interstate highway system. It would help tackle unemployment and would increase commerce.
