The arrogance of mediocre cadaan men

I was watching this video about this Norwegian guys traveling blog in Tanzania. In the video Skip to 2:19, the locals find a black mamba in his house. Harald, the cadaan, has the arrogance to question them and insist that it's a Green Mamba. The villagers kept saying it's a black mamba and they eventually said "maybe it's a green mamba" to not be rude and agree with the Cadaan. These people have lived in this area for centuries and would easily know what a Black Mamba is. This is my issue with Cadaans who portray "adventures" to Africa. They bring their own subconscious bias with them and lowkey think they're more knowledgable lol.

Most foreign travelers don't even dare to go visit Africa. It's even a miracle to visit that continent.

I doubt it that just because you've lived in a place for ages that you're suddenly a genius in distinguishing animals.

I welcome all the foreigners to visit Africa, with or without their "unconscious bias". People deserve to eat, and Tourism is great.

Exactly. Any intelligent person would think, "these people have lived here for centuries and would know what kind of snake they interact with." He had no idea what a green mamba looked like but still insisted he was right. He should have kept his mouth shut and done some research later with evidence to back up his claims.
