i think all of us agree that beauty has both an economic and social value, and i can safely argue that we somalis
score quite highly in this field and this is not a self pompous claim, it is attested to by a lot of commentators of matters
beauty. it is my theory that a great part of the somali pride stems from this factor whether we are aware or not and
contributes greatly to our superiority complex and is one of the reasons besides our great religion of islam that has
sustained us during all types of upheaval and different environmental exposures that we have been subjected to.
my question is how long do you think this is going to sustain before the world demands that its time we put more on
the table. beauty truly has been a great unquantified asset to us.

We definitely have an advantage over other Africans with more broader features. I don’t frighten the average white female even at night. I wouldn’t say the same for a South Sudanese individual. Our Caucasian features are easier on the eyes when compared to other Africans.
