No one pays mehr in the west because most are run through already by 16.
If a guy ever pays upfront it means he's serious. And I can see myself being with them forever till death takes us apart.

So you get 30k Mehr, what are you going to do with? Invest in a family home? Your kids tuition? Pocket money?
Like 30k is a ridiculous amount, and you're probably gonna want said future husband to dish out another 10-25k on an extravagant wedding not to mention some sort of honeymoon another 5-15k.
That's a max total of 60k.
You know how many potential investment opportunities can be had with that amount.
