And it's much more for modern weapons right....:kendrickcry:
Maybe turkey and the Arabs will front the bill if we take advantage of their foreign policy. :kanyehmm: Somalia is in a fantastic position currently, if we play our cards right we can get out of the abject poverty. I would stick with Turkey and try to get America on our side, or finally be brave and approach China, Russia or even Iran. :yacadiim:

Let's hope Farmajo can at least get the SNA and police functioning in his 4 years. I have faith in this man.

At the time though there was the Cold War. Currently there is Russia China and America. America is really bad and recently has become weak due to Trump. As for Russia and China they want nothing to do with Somalia and also all our neighbours r aligned with America. Our only hope of military development is Turkey and the gulf countries and neither will help us for free. I still prefer The sultan over the gulf.

Yes Turkey has its own millitary aircraft and a highly developed military industrial complex if Somalia stabilizes, then im almost sure they will fund our heave weaponry and aircrafts.

How long do u think it will take for the UK or one of the other nations to finally remove the arms embargo. Do u think it will happen in farmajos administration?

Yes, just today Al-shabaab accepted a peace confernce with the SFG the first one ever im suspecting Qatar cut its funding for Al-shabaab considering its now part of the Turkey-Iran-Alliance and Turkey convinced them that a strong Somalia is in their best interest as a strong potential ally.
Russia and China Already said they will vote against extending the Arms embargo and USA seems to also be rather positive about in regards to somalia, France is silent currently but will follow the US.
UK is the biggest obstacle but if everything works out with the peace conference there will be no legitimate reason for them to vote against it.
